Fool’s Gold in the Netherlands

After a narrow miss on a podium place in the European Championships

Fool’s gold is now safely in Holland getting prepared for the World Ofshore

Championships in Scheveningen.

The homeport of your Commodore Scheveningen Harbour was closed due to the finish of the Volvo Ocean Race

so the port of Hellevoetsluitsluis is where the boat was delivered to.

A Fantastic trip with many things we normally do not encounter in Ireland

The cliffs of Beachy Head , A Nuclear powerstion (Dungeness) The Traffic control in Dover Port, crossing shipping lanes, Enormous windmill farms and locks to get into the harbour are things we normally do not encounter in Ireland and make a trip like this interesting and sometimes challenging
