Irish Sailing Certified Powerboat training at WHSC is provided by South Coast Sailing. Together, we are running a full schedule of powerboat training courses in Dunmore East throughout the season and into the autumn.
A sample of the courses available are:
- Introduction to powerboating – level 1 – cost €165 – 1 day
- National powerboat certificate – level 2 – cost €275 – 2 day
- Safety boat course – cost €300 – 2 day
- Coastal Navigation for small vessels – cost €150 – 2 day
- Intermediate powerboat certificate – cost €325 – 2 day
- Advanced powerboat certificate – night passage – cost €350 – 2 day
- RYA VHF Course – 2-day course – €185 + £76 exam fee
- RYA certified 1st aid course – 1-day course. Cost €175/person. Maximum group 9 people. Includes CPR & AED training.
